Since saving 8 ducklings this summer-which have now grown to be beautiful ducks, my interest in feathers has developed. Their pattern, colour, shape and skeletal structure has an individuality. They're intricate but not always understated. They add glamour to fashion and obvious femininity. They look good in clusters or on their own. They grow and fall but never die. They are classic and timeless, sensuous and romantic, tropical and humble, symmetrical and disjointed.
